Congress Gives Bush $200 Billion More For War

July 8, 2008 Comments off

Congress has given President Bush $200 billion more dollars to continue the Iraq war and maintain U.S. military presence in Afghanistan.

When you think about all the good that money could have done in America, it’s a crying shame. Think of the number of schools, universities, hospitals, low income housing and homeless shelters that could have been built for that money.

Instead, it’s just $200 billion dollars down the drain in a never ending war. It’s like a bad movie that refuses to end.

House passes $162B for wars in Iraq, Afghanistan

WASHINGTON (AP) — The House has voted to provide $162 billion for President Bush to carry out U.S. military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan through the end of his term.

The 268 to 155 vote would bring to more than $600 billion the amount provided by Congress for the war in Iraq since it started five years ago. For operations in Afghanistan, it comes to almost $200 billion, according to congressional analysts.

15-Year-Old Mindy McCready Had An Affair With 28-Year-Old Roger Clemens

FBI Probe Turns Ugly On Roger Clemens

*Cue R. Kelly Music*

Country singer Mindy McCready

A then 15-year-old singer, Mindy McCready, met a then 28-year old married baseball player, Roger Clemens, at a bar called The Hired Hand, then went back to his hotel room with him.

Mindy McCready

Mindy, now 32, claims she did not have underage sex with Roger, now 45, that night 17 years ago, but I don’t believe that. I think she is saying that to protect him. She tearfully told the press:

“I cannot refute anything in the story. Yes, I have known Roger Clemens for a long time. He’s a kind and caring man. He’s also a legendary athlete. The central topic in the debate, however, regards his professional life, not his personal life. There are legal matters working their way through the system that have nothing to do with me. From my point of view, that is where the focus should remain.”

Roger “The Rocket” Clemens” the subject of a very clever headline “Rocket’s Red Glare” – a pun on a lyric from the U.S. national anthem.

The FBI interviewed the singer regarding her relationship with the baseball player, as apart of the probe into whether or not he took steroids and subsequently lied about it in Congress.

Debbie and Roger Clemens, married throughout the time of the affair with country singer Mindy McCready

As I mentioned in my previous Judiciary Report article, as I watched Clemens’ congressional testimony, sadly, I did not believe him.

Later, I read online that many others didn’t believe him either. It was very dangerous going in there lying to them, as the charges it can spawn are not pretty.

Mindy Mccready Questioned By Fbi About Relationship With Roger Clemens

Mindy McCready was recently questioned by FBI agents about baseball star Roger Clemens. The interview is part of an on-going investigation to determine whether Clemens perjured himself when he told congressional investigators in February that he had never taken performance-enhancing drugs. Clemens’former personal trainer, Brian McNamee, told federal investigators otherwise.

McCready’s long relationship with Clemens began in 1991 when the singer was just 15 years old.

Foreclosures Hit Record High In April 2008

Home Sales Hit 20 Year Low

George Bush

More proof the Bush administration has not turned the nation’s economic woes around has arrived in the form of news that foreclosures hit a record high last month. 250,000 homes/families went into foreclosure in the month of April. Despite all the government’s talk of helping people, this was allowed to happen anyway.

Homes sales have also hit a 20 year low. With the rising cost of living, many people can’t afford to buy homes.

The Bush administration also shot down a $290 billion dollar farm subsidy bill, deeming the nation can’t afford it. Oh really. But the country can afford a deceitful war costing taxpayers $500 million per day. The war has cost the nation a trillion dollars, when the original number Bush said it would come in at was “50 million.” Bombs before food, then, George.

Congress overrode Bush’s veto. Only an unwise legislator would not secure a nation’s basic needs – food, water and air – making sure it is clean and in adequate supply. Those basics of life always need to be protected.

I think Bush didn’t want that massive spending bill going through under his presidency, while the Democrats probably preferred it on his tab. Who cares, the farmers need the help and the country needs to maintain its food supply (look what happened with the rice shortages the other day).

Foreclosure filings hit record in April

Survey sees more than 243,000 filings, up 65% from a year earlier, creating problems for local governments.

Some 243,353 households, nearly one in 519, received a foreclosure filing during April, according to the U.S. Foreclosure Market Report from RealtyTrac, an online marketplace that tracks foreclosed properties. That was up 4% from March, and surpassed the record of 239,851 set in August 2007.

US home prices fall at record pace

May 27, 2008 20:23 – The gloom enveloping the US housing market intensified on Tuesday as home prices dropped at the fastest annual rate since records began 20 years ago.

Hacking Democracy

Title: Hacking Democracy

Year Of Release: 2007

Review Date: May 9, 2008

Rating: PG

Running time: 82 minutes

Box Office Gross: N/A

Recommendation: A great documentary on how dangerously flawed the U.S. voting system is thanks to Diebold machines and software. A real must see.

What’s the most powerful company in America? Wal-Mart with its $378 billion dollars in revenue? No. Microsoft with its $50 billion dollars in revenue? No. How about Google with its $16 billion in revenue? Once again, no.

Any company that can single-handedly put a person in office from Congress to the White House, is the most powerful company in the nation.

Introducing Diebold. A company with less yearly revenues than the above mentioned corporate behemoths, $2 billion, but one with a much longer arm that extends into politics. Way into politics, shaping the nation’s future, without most people even knowing it.

This documentary’s tag line should have been “Diebold – picking winners so you don’t have to”

Diebold is a U.S. company that manufactures voting software and hardware. Their products have been so unreliable, wrong candidates have been elected to office as a result.

Error prone Diebold machines count 80% of votes in all elections. Yet, this documentary accurately exposed the terrible fact that the security on Diebold machines is so poor, that they can be quickly hacked and physically broken into “in 10 seconds flat.” They showed this on camera.

A computer expert declared in the documentary that Diebold machines can be, “Easily hacked without being detected.” Computer scientists at acclaimed universities further proved this astonishing, but true claim as well.

Checks And Balances

Checks and balances? There are none. The company that is supposed to test the Diebold software, Ciber, gave it passing grades across the board.

The hackable, unreliable software passed the security checks in many categories. The main area they should have tested, they did not.

The test results stated, “Penetration analysis not reviewed.” Translation – they didn’t test if a hacker could penetrate the system.

The documentary exposed Diebold machines and software as being so unreliable, that it was counting votes backwards. Candidates were wrongfully losing votes that were fraudulently going to their opponents.

Malfunctioning Machines

A candidate that was running for local office went to check how the voting was going. With a camera man in tow, she illustrated that on the 15 machines she tested by pressing her name as the candidate she wished to vote for, each time it registered a vote for her opponent, with his name flashing at the bottom of screen as the selected candidate, when he was not.

Statements About Diebold Software

Diebold is “running uncertified software” – State of California

“Numerous, severe vulnerabilities in code” – A professor from Johns Hopkins University

“16 security flaws found” – Berkley University

“Optical scan machines are being rigged to produce the results for Bush”

Harry Hursti

A computer security expert from abroad, Harry Hursti, bought a memory card reader to explore Diebold voting software for the documentary.

He found that the software has “a modifiable program” and “an executable code” meaning one can change the votes on the standard Diebold memory card to reflect whatever you wish.

He wrote that a “program lurking” on the Diebold memory cards can change the result of votes. His report reflecting this information was “dismissed and stonewalled” by Diebold.

They did various demonstrations, utilizing both digital and paper votes, that showed the machines malfunctioning on camera.

Dumpster Diving – Diebold For Bush

Normally, I am not for dumpster diving, as corporate entities often use this invasive practice to steal from others, but in this case what was discovered was very eye opening.

The documentary’s camera crew and host found documents listing accounts receivables to Diebold from the “8th District Republican Committee” in Texas.

They also found a copy of a letter from Diebold chief executive Wally O’Dell to George Bush’s 2004 campaign that stated “I am committed to delivering the votes of Ohio to George W. Bush”

After the election, where John Kerry led in the exit polls in Ohio, George Bush took that crucial state and the nation in a surprise victory, and according to the documentary, “The Feds stayed away.”

The Feds did not investigate. Why would FBI director Robert Mueller investigate George W. Bush, when the President basically owns him. They meet every week according to published reports. Bush appointed him and they behave as though the FBI is a private, corporate offshoot of the Bush administration.

Supreme Court

Let’s not forget, in 2000 the Supreme Court gave George Bush the highly disputed presidential election, via Anthony Scalia’s coercion of the other jurists according to CBS.

The arrogant, smug, cocky, incompetent Scalia was interviewed on CBS recently and his speech illustrated he is more concerned with publicity than justice and truth. It shall be your legacy.

What’s the big deal, right. After all, you only single-handedly put into office a pathological liar that started a phony war over his obsession with stealing Middle Eastern oil, whilst bringing America to unprecedented lows, simultaneously costing the nation its place in the world, with thousands of soldiers losing their lives and over a million civilians theirs as well.

Bush fooled many in the world, but those who knew better in government had a duty to rein his madness in, but instead for the lure of so called power and fortune, helped it along.

Was Hillary Behind The Reverend Wright Tapes?

May 9, 2008 Comments off

Hillary: I’m desperate!

Was Hillary Clinton behind the Reverend Wright tapes surfacing? In her zeal to beat Obama, which backfired, did Mrs. Clinton have a hand in these tapes going public, that have harmed the Democratic Party.

Obama’s rise to prominence in the race took Hillary by surprise, as she and many firmly believed for almost a year that she was the front-runner. Her cockiness showed it. She was as proud as a peacock. Then the reverse happened, and she was suddenly lagging behind.

Her campaign has circulated incendiary items to the media in attempts at torpedoing Obama’s campaign. Were the Reverend Wright tapes one of them.

You continue with these harmful, nasty, low blows, Hillary, and the Democrats are going to denounce and disown you.

Not to mention, if all your skeletons got dragged out of the closet, it would look like a cemetery.

Bush Worried About Greenhouse Effect

April 16, 2008 Comments off

Yea, the Greenhouse Effect Is Worried About You Too

…After Starting A War That Is Making It Worse

April 16. 2008

George Bush: I can be Al Gore!

An Associated Press article this week stated George Bush is announcing his, “Goal for stopping greenhouse emissions.” He should be more concerned about stopping greenback emissions via that expensive war that is bleeding the Treasury dry.

You need to bring the soldiers back to their families. You are not going to redeem yourself as a president by leaving them there longer, after sending them to Iraq over a self-concocted lie. Too many people in the world are suffering because of you, here and abroad.

Furthermore, how are you going to be a spokesman for this issue, after commanding a war, with massive amounts of pollutants being emitted in Iraq via 140,000 soldiers using trucks, tankers, SUVs and massive weaponry and the foreign contingent firing back at them. Or did you not think of that.

Wow, Ike is showing all his teeth in that pic, isn’t he

That’s like Ike Turner being a spokesman against crack. You need to find a green member of Congress to front that campaign:

Bush to announce goal for stopping greenhouse emissions

By DEB RIECHMANN – 2 hours ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush, stepping into the debate over global warming, plans to announce on Wednesday a national goal for stopping the growth of greenhouse gas emissions over the next few decades.

How Much Did The FBI Know And When

How Much Did The FBI Know About The Suspects In The London Bombings Before It Happened?

April 16. 2008

Robert “Show Me The Money” Mueller

It was uncovered the FBI knew about some of the suspects in the September 11th bombings in advance, before it happened. Therefore, how much did they know about the suspects in the London bombings before it happened?

I have to ask, as the criminal negligence present in 9/11 left many bewildered, as to why FBI headquarters in Washington stonewalled its own agents that wanted to investigate suspicious people related to the bombings, before it happened.

FBI Whistleblower Sibel Edmonds once stated in an interview that FBI headquarters would allow work to pile up, so they could go into Congress and say, look how much work we have, we’re falling behind and need more money for additional staff and resources.

Sibel Edmonds

She said she was encouraged at times to do nothing on the job, to create a backlog, that would go as evidence to present in Congress, to ask for more of the nation’s hard earned tax dollars for the FBI.

Considering, FBI director Robert Mueller squandered 1 billion dollars in taxpayer money, for a computer system that still hasn’t surfaced and is mysteriously plagued with bizarre problems and technical glitches the average computer company would not have experienced, it makes you wonder. Said system keeps requiring more and more congressionally earmarked taxpayer money, when the job at most should have cost roughly $50 million. Once again, it makes you wonder.

Mueller is a man that went so far as to turn in dodgy invoices for exorbitant payments rendered to “miscellaneous” entities for “miscellaneous” services, totaling a few hundred thousand dollars.

Equipment was also missing and unaccounted for (does Mueller have an EBay account). Where exactly is all the FBI’s money going, especially in light of all the massive budget increases they keep asking Congress for, at a time the nation needs the money for other things.
