Sony’s Madness

April 7, 2009 Comments off

Sony chairman, Howard Stringer, is hanging on, but his employees are not, jumping ship to get away from his madness…and forthcoming criminal charges. First BMG left, now Ericsson wants out.

Sony Ericsson USA boss, Najmi Jarwala, quit his job this week at the crumbling company. This marks the third Sony division head that has quit in the last month.

The Sony electronics and Sony IPL CEOs also quit their respective jobs. Sony is suffering massive sales declines and losses in every area of trade, far worse than all of their competitors. Hmm I wonder why. God doesn’t like ugly and neither does the product buying public.

I have every right to be angry regarding this questionable company. Their conduct towards me has been predatory, invasive and illegal.

  • A few years ago, they invited me to Sony (in writing). I did not go.

  • Shortly after, Sony started spying into my computer via an item they sent me as an unsolicited gift (contained backdoor computer trojan). Sony was sued in 2005 by U.S. state attorneys and consumer groups for similar misconduct in the DRM scandal.

  • In 2005, Sony illegally dove headfirst into my Copyrighted Catalog without permission, that contains 12,000 songs, 300 movie scripts and short stories, 15 book manuscripts, 200 music video treatments, 500 photographs, 150 photo treatments, a perfume line and clothing line. They illegally passed it around to Sony’s music and film artists and writers, who knowingly infringed my Copyrights and routinely visit my websites (before and after the infringements occurred). They criminally received an illegally made copy of my Copyrighted Catalog, procured through hacking commissioned by Madonna, whose lawyer, Robert Jacobs of Mannat Phelps, is also in charge of Sony’s music catalog (Madonna has a side distribution deal with Sony). I later met Jacobs at a legal case management meeting, when he came up to me and bizarrely started shaking my hands and trying to strike up a conversation.

  • Sony is the same company that previously ripped off my godmother’s husband, Clement Coxsonne Dodd, who invented ska and reggae music and signed Bob Marley and many others to record deals. Sony infringed his copyrighted music as well, which he had to sue them regarding.

Sony has been watching me and my work for years, with very ill intentions. They are predators that have broken the law at my expense, to the point it made me physically ill.

These people have been preying on me, circling me like sharks and vultures, when I had no intention of joining any of their companies for any reason. Their conduct towards me has been so ugly, unseemly, unprovoked and uncalled for.

I have every right to be angry and feel violated, as much of their conduct crossed into illegal territory for which they deserve imprisonment.

Sony Ericsson takes a merciless beating

Published March 24, 2009, 12:17 PM – First the joint venture predicted a huge loss for its upcoming earnings call, then it lost its North American leader. What’s next?…

On Friday, the joint venture announced that it could post a loss of between €340-390 million for the first quarter of 2009…the company’s presence in the smartphone category remains weak.

Yesterday, Sony Ericsson announced that Najmi Jarwala, President of Sony Ericsson USA and the head of the North American division, would be leaving at the end of this month to “pursue other career opportunities.” …

Further fueling this speculation were the rumors that wireless hardware company Ericsson was looking to get out of the joint venture.

One thing is certain, if Sony Ericsson’s losses actually exceed the €390 million the company warned, this will not be the last bad news we hear from the company this month.

Madonna Stole “Express Yourself”

April 1, 2008 Comments off

Further cementing her title as the greatest musical fraud in history, it has been revealed by a web site that Madonna’s stole not only the song “Express Yourself” but the music video it as well (SEE PHOTO COMPARISONS BELOW).

I stumbled upon a web site that posted a link in a message board thread, where all the users were complaining about what a thief Madonna is and they are correct, as I can attest to that firsthand.

When one’s career is based on stealing and defrauding others out of their copyrighted works, over and over again, forming a pattern that spanned one’s entire career, it says you are a fraud of the highest order.

To date there have been many very credible copyright infringement and plagiarism claims against Madonna for stealing (listed below).

Then, you look at her forthcoming CD, “Hard Candy” and once again, it is packed with copyright infringement. She stole the CD cover from Kylie Minogue. She stole the song “Candy Shop” from 50 Cent. Then she stole the songs “4 Minutes To Save The World,” “Incredible,” “Devil” and “Dance Tonight” from my released and unreleased work from my PREEXISTING Copyrighted Catalog that contains 10,000 songs, among other items.

When you look over the sheer amount of stuff Madonna has stolen from so many people, you say to yourself regarding her, what a fraud. Her career has been an absolute, unequivocal fraud. For details on the following copyright thefts regarding the many artists Madonna has stolen from click here:

NOTE: Regarding my case, in October 2007, a former Jamaican Prime Minister found a copyright attorney to represent me at an international law firm, which I thank him for. Said attorney has been working on the case, as it relates to Sony/BMG and Interscope, as I requested. I appreciate his time and efforts. The Madonna case and the other thefts that sprang from it will be pursued separately and internationally in other world forums by a human rights law firm.

However, while my attorney has been working on the case, Sony/BMG artist, Beyonce, and her family have been steadily sneaking out more and more of my copyrighted works without permission. My works are very dear to me. If you were me in this, how would you feel in light of that.

I have acted in good faith in turning in all the necessary paperwork, laid off slamming Sony/BMG artists in my widely read columns for stealing my copyrighted works, so as not to impede my attorney in anyway, to give them a chance to resolve this.

However, Beyonce and co. keep offending me more and more with the continuing thefts of my copyrights. This is greatly jeopardizing a possible settlement and I don’t fathom how Sony/BMG could want that and a Warner type boycott.

Did Beyonce not get her boss Clive Davis’ public memo that appeared all over the mainstream press last month:

NOTE #2: I know who the commissioned hacker is that Madonna hired in this case. I know where he works. I have recorded his various hacks into my computers without permission, where he illegally copied my Copyrighted Catalog, and I have obtained, for evidentiary purposes, a clear, irrefutable digital and financial trail between Madonna and said hacker and his place of employment. Said evidence meets all international legal standards.

When Partnerships Go Wrong

Thieves, Thieves And More Thieves

February 14. 2008

L.A. Antonio Reid

In the 80’s and early 90’s production partners L.A. and Babyface, Antonio Reid and Kenneth Edmonds, became successful with a string of hits for artists such as Bobby Brown, Pebbles, Paula Abdul and TLC.

In the mid-nineties their partnership fell to pieces when Babyface decided to go solo. According to the former B.E.T. show “Video Soul” it was L.A. Reid’s fault.

Host Donnie Simpson tried to pry it out of Babyface during an interview. Simpson cited a quote where Babyface had previously said he wish he’d paid as much attention to the business side as L.A. had, leading people to believe his then production partner had robbed him.

Charismatic host Donnie Simpson of the former hit show “Video Soul”

He paid attention to writing music, while L.A. paid attention to the money and something happened in that realm between the two that led to the dissolution of the partnership.

Donnie Simpson and his wife

He further said in an interview that he was the real songwriter behind the duo, which is true, as L.A. was in fact a drummer, who used the partnership as a stepping-stone to form a label. L.A. Reid even admitted in an interview that Babyface was the real songwriting talent in the duo.

Babyface, his ex-wife Tracey Edmonds, and their kids

Time proved that as well, as after the break up Babyface continued to write songs, while L.A. Reid focused on becoming a record executive.

Babyface and girlfriend

Clive Davis, who founded Arista records in the 70’s, gave L.A. and Babyface their own record label in the late 80’s. They moved to Atlanta and started Laface Records, which became quite successful with the help and money of its parent company Arista.

Clive Davis

Several years later many in the industry were mad at L.A. Reid for taking Clive Davis’ job at Arista Records, when he was forced out due to age.

Then again, any man that could make his own wife, Pebbles, the fall guy for the poor royalties one of his former top groups received, is capable of that.

Reid promptly ran Arista into the ground, racking up $120,000,000 in losses. He then left the company or was fired, depending on which one you believe.

Jay-Z and L.A. Reid

Davis later regained Arista and Reid sought employment elsewhere, landing at Def Jam/Island/Universal where he has worked with Jay-Z, who ran Def Jam into the ground. Jay-Z has been sued several times for copyright infringement and defrauding people out of their money.

Apparently, old habits die hard for L.A. over at Def Jam/Island/Universal, as he and his team (Jay-Z, The Dream, Ne-yo And Polo Da Don) are still engaging in taking advantage of songwriters. The Bible says a man, “Reaps what he sows.” L.A. and co. would do well to remember that. I guess you want a repeat of that devastating Arista debacle.

Outing Gay Celebrities – Is It Sound Legal Territory

Blogger Attempts To Out Music Mogul Clive Davis And Singer Mariah Carey

August 20, 2007

Bloggers like Perez Hilton and now former publicist, Jonathan Jaxson, have taken to outing celebrities as gay in a big way. Jaxson’s claims are drawing attention now because he was proven correct in the past. While I don’t know those two bloggers and this isn’t about them personally, I would like to discuss the legal aspect of this trend popularized by Perez.

If a person is labeled gay and they are not, can they sue. Some judges have thrown out such lawsuits under the premise that being called gay is not a slur or something bad.

However, what if it is a person who makes their money in the entertainment industry off an image of being a wholesome, straight family person with children.

If the person is actually gay or bi-sexual then the image would be a lie and they did so at their own risk. But what if they are not gay and are labeled as such causing their career and reputation harm.

In closing, as a Christian, I like millions of others of the faith believe based on the Bible that being gay is not God’s will for a person’s life. However, He gave everyone in this world free will, therefore it is each person’s choice.

Here is Jonathan Jaxson’s list of who he is saying is gay – and I have highlighted a few in red that may surprise you (can you believe he thinks Elton John is gay – whatever gave him that idea – just kidding):

* Cuba Gooding Jr.
* Jamie Fox
* Usher
* Will Smith
