Celebrities Shun Paris And Britney Comparisons
Hollywood celebrities have been left reeling from John McCain’s commercial that basically made Tinseltown look, what’s the word I’m looking for…stupid.
Celebrities are now distancing themselves from Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, who are the commercial’s main tarty targets.
Well, that’s what happens when you let your worst denizens get the most airtime. The rest of the nation and the world walks away with the impression that everyone in Hollywood is, what’s the word I’m looking for…stupid.

John McCain ad irritates many in Hollywood
The celebrity backers of Barack Obama say they are not like Paris and Britney. Some of Obama’s strongest celebrity backers, like George Clooney, have been careful to keep their distance because they don’t want to compromise the candidate’s image as a serious politician. Moreover, as many in the industry have noted, the Obama campaign has been especially careful about vetting stars before they’re allowed to work the campaign trail on the senator’s behalf.
