Actress Scarlett Johansson: I’m Engaged To Obama

The Scarlett Letter – Girlfriend Is Losing Her Mind

More Proof That Hollywood Is Nuts

Scarlett Johansson

Hollyweird has struck again. I believe the Spanish call it loco. Actress Scarlett Johansson stunned the press and public by saying, “I’m engaged to Barack Obama.” Yes and Lil Kim is engaged to John McCain (she’d probably give him a heart attack).

Seriously, yes, Scarlett Johansson really said that she is engaged to Obama. Scary, I know, because, well, he’s married and running for president.

Johansson emailed him once, and received a response from one of his aides, Reggie Love, relayed from Obama, telling her thank you.

However, it is being said Scarlett told a lot of people, and by a lot of people I mean the press, that she and Obama regularly email each other and she gives him advice. Advice on what? What tie to wear with what shirt? Couldn’t be on politics.

Note to Hollywood: remember how you guys messed up the last election for the Democrats. Yes, feel the flashback.

Michelle Obama: she said what?

Emailing someone once or even a couple times does not constitute a relationship. Why say the following when you know he is a.) married and b.) running for office:

“I am engaged … to Barack Obama. My heart belongs to Barack, and that is who I am currently, finally, engaged to. Yes.”

Barack Obama’s response was:

According to Obama, Johansson is lying about trading lengthy e-mail exchanges. “She sent one email to Reggie, who forwarded it to me,” Obama said, referring to his 26-year-old personal assistant, Reggie Love. “I write saying, ‘thank you Scarlett for doing what you do,’ and suddenly we have this email relationship.”

UPDATE: Groan. A reader suggests, “I did not… have… textual relations with that woman, Miss Johansson.”
