At first it was being stated that “Transformers” actor Shia LaBeouf’s injury would require a one month break from filming for him to recuperate.

Remember when I joked on July 30, 2008 that “MSNBC is reporting LaBeouf’s injury will cost the “Transformers 2″ sequel millions of dollars, due to the one month delay for Shia to recuperate from hand surgery. Um, can’t he just wear gloves in the movie or something (kidding). “

Well, they’ve changed their minds and announced yesterday evening that they are working his injury into the sequel, “Transformers 2.” Wonder if they will give him Michael Jackson type gloves (LOL).

For the record, according to Labeouf’s lawyer, he has two crushed fingers. Shia’s just being a baby. When I get a paper cut do you think I stop typing for a whole month. I think not.

Michael Norris, LaBeouf’s attorney, said in a statement Friday LaBeouf underwent four hours of surgery. His left arm remains immobilized from the elbow down.

“He will need regular medical supervision until his doctors clear him to return to work,” Norris said in the statement. “His doctors remain hopeful that he will fully recover, but due to extensive surgery and the nature of the injuries, there remains a substantial risk of both infection and other complications.” …

LaBeouf has been filming the “Transformers” sequel, “Revenge of the Fallen.” Director Michael Bay said the injury may be added to the script.

“His two fingers are pretty smashed, but we’re figuring out a way to shoot around it, kind of write it into the story,” Bay told “Access Hollywood” in an interview airing Friday.

Bay claimed his leading man was not drunk at the time of the crash and insisted that “that’s gonna go away.”

“He was drinking hours and hours before,” Bay told the syndicated entertainment show.

Truck flipper and “Transformers” actor, Shia LaBeouf, went for fresh smoky air outside the hospital, where his hand was operated on a few days ago, after a DUI accident.

He looks somewhat shaken in the photo, which is to be expected, as his vehicle actually flipped with him in it (and with no stunt double, might I add).

I just realized, what was Shia LaBeouf doing with actor Adrian Grenier’s girlfriend, Isabel Lucas, at 2AM in the morning, in that accident. As Ricky Ricardo would say Shia, “you got some esplainin’ to do.”

Another thing about the accident I don’t get is why Shia’s truck didn’t just transform into a robot like in the movie and avoid hitting the other vehicle? These are the scientific questions we will never know the answers to.

Shia LaBeouf’s co-star from the “Transformers 2″ movie, Australian model and actress Isabel Lucas, 23, was also in his vehicle that flipped over in a DUI accident last week. She sustained minor injuries. Optimus Prime would never have crashed like that.

LaBeouf is totally living the life of a Hollywood actor, in the company of pretty women like Lucas (not George, but Isabel) and Megan Fox.

It’s very obvious, however, that he is hitting all the Hollywood pitfalls as well. He’s been out partying and getting drunk often, now the arrests are rolling in, and drug use is probably already in the picture.

It’s amazing how people find it difficult to avoid and resist the Hollywood clichés that destroyed those that came before them. Despite all that’s going on in his life and burgeoning career, in interviews he does not come across as a happy person.

“He was dancing around and acting really crazy,” the source tells Us. “He kept doing shots of whiskey. He stayed until the band was done and then stumbled out of the club by himself.”

But look who was in his truck when the accident went down? None other than his gorgeous “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” Aussie-born co-star Isabel Lucas, 23.

Actor Shia Labeouf Arrested On DUI Charges

In an incident proving Hollywood never learns its lesson, another famous actor has been arrested for DUI. Never mind people have been killed and injured due to many DUIs in Tinseltown, they just keep on happening.

The latest star to get arrested is “Transformer” and “Indiana Jones” actor Shia Labeouf. He was so drunk, he flipped his car and injured his hand, requiring extensive surgery. His two passengers were hurt as well. He has been charged with a misdemeanor.

Labeouf has been arrested before on another issue. Separately, a video surfaced on YouTube of a drunk Labeouf using the F-word, which upset homosexuals.

I’m going to go there and state this, why is it gays call each other the F-word verbally and in print, but don’t want others to do so.

Hey, isn’t that what’s said of the N-word and black people, and since gays love to equate their struggle with slavery, which in my opinion is offensively comparing apples and oranges, I’d like an answer to that question.

For the record, I’ve never used the F-word. If something is over the top gay, I’ll just call it “camp” or “queer.”

Shia LaBeouf Recovering From ‘Extensive Hand Surgery’ Following Car Crash

Actor will be able to return to work on ‘Transformers 2′ within month, spokesperson says.

“Transformers” actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after an accident in Hollywood early Sunday morning in which he rolled his truck, seriously injuring his hand. Police booked the actor on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence and then released him.

According to an Associated Press report, the 22-year-old actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment of injuries to his left hand, as well as a knee injury and a minor head injury. A spokesperson for the “Indiana Jones” star said he underwent hand surgery and plans to return to work on the “Transformers” sequel within a month.

Hastings said of Lindsay, “She basically cleaned out my closet” regarding the clothes Lohan stole. Lindsay claimed they were freebies to take. Yea right. You go to someone’s home when they are not there and clean out their closets, then claim they were “free to take.” Just how much drugs did you do that day, Lindsay.

Show of hands, how many of you have gone over to a friend’s house while they were not there and cleaned out their closets – clothes, jewelry and all, claiming they were “free to take.” Not exactly normal behavior, now is it.

Lohan’s publicist continues to claim she hasn’t done anything wrong. You know, like the time Lindsay put out that quote stating she doesn’t do drugs and the cocaine found in her pocket at the police station was not hers, only to find out later that she lied.

This destructiveness wouldn’t be as terrible if she wasn’t determined on harming and defrauding others in the process – from stealing clothes to running over innocent people’s feet.

People would have more sympathy for her if she wasn’t going around doing such vicious things to others. She needs to be sedated or committed, as her problems go way deeper than drugs, landing firmly in the mental illness bracket.
